Zoheb’s research at Intellidex recognises that the private sector is key to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals. He explores ways in which its role in the creation of fairer societies can be fulfilled and expanded. Zoheb’s major research interests include youth employment, the just transition, shared ownership and impact investing.

He is based in São Paulo, where he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Brazilian Centre for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP). He is also a research associate at the Centre for Social Development in Africa at the University of Johannesburg, where he carried out his doctoral research between 2014 and 2018.

Examples of his work include research on South Africa’s renewable energy community trusts and a series of reports on the country’s first social impact bonds.
