Lameez is a senior researcher in Krutham’s social economy division where she researches non-profit organisations and strategy. She supports the wider team drawing on an extensive background in qualitative methodologies.
Lameez has several years of experience in social and behavioural research using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies across various research fields including management, entrepreneurship, social and organisational psychology.
Before joining Krutham, she was a senior researcher at ikapadata where she led the data collection for a national survey of early learning programmes in South Africa as well as standardised assessments of over 5,000 pre-school children. Prior to that she was the M&E manager at One Acre Fund, an agricultural service provider supporting smallholder farmers in Africa, where she was responsible for evaluating the Malawi country programme’s social impact and social return on investment.
Lameez holds a PhD from the Rotterdam School of Management in The Netherlands and an MA in Research Psychology from the University of Cape Town.
