“Across the market, the value proposition of digital assets is often rooted in solving immediate, real-world challenges. In South Africa, our research found that about half of respondents agree that digital assets can increase efficiency in cross-border payments. This aligns with the broader continental need for cheaper, faster remittances and improved trade finance,” says Thembi.
