In our Capital Markets report of 15 January detailing our 2021 outlook, we stated that the GOOD party is being funded by the ANC in the Western Cape. The GOOD party have contacted us to say that this isn’t true. Our comment in the report was based on conversations with several political commentators and politicians, however we have no direct knowledge of GOOD’s funding sources and we take their information to be accurate. We therefore retract our comment and apologise to GOOD.
